As a manufacturer of quality bikes, we pay the utmost attention to our products. The newly introduced adjustable handlebar switch, which few models in our 2012 bike collection feature contains a major manufacturing defect. Under hard braking, the stem without any warning to fold forward. This allows the driver to dangerous situations
It is therefore important to replace the switch stem. The new stem is only performed on some 2012 models in our collection (sales from August t / m in December 2011). On this page (and your local Gazelle dealer) to check if your bike is equipped with a possible switch stem with one of these production codes. In this case we request you to your Gazelle dealer for a final check. Indeed, if your bike is equipped with a faulty stem it will be replaced free of charge.
